Organic Farming Venice, Italy

We travel on a regular basis to Venice Italy every two years to attend the Venice Biennale contemporary art show. Last year we decided to decompress from traveling a couple days outside of Venice in Mestre. We really got lucky and booked an Air B&B on an amazing organic farm, called Habitat 3560. The name comes from how many vines and trees they planted when they first started transforming the old, tired, depleted field into a thriving Biome.
Pamela and Endrius invested all of their energies into manifesting a vibrant sustainable biome. It’s hard to put into words the level of commitment they demonstrated nurturing an organic sustainable life in all of their activities. At first I felt awkward to be receiving the abundance of their nurturing care, but Carolyn helped me relax into it and be embraced.

Both of them are architects who think about the interconnections all beings and things have. Their thoughts inspire heart felt commitment to live life nurturing and honoring all of those connections. I especially like the way Endrius explained it to me, “Every moment, every interaction, every activity is an opportunity to create value and value is a meaningful experience of integrity”.

It’s an extraordinary place and they’re extraordinary people if anyone reading this has the opportunity to visit them I’m sure you will be inspired by them and the farm they have established.

Please check out their website to get a better sense of what they have done and who they are.

We just opened the Nandi pavilion last weekend and celebrated with a few of our neighbors and we toasted the moment with organic Prosecco from 3650 farm. It was exceptional.
